Be careful with GameGly - $20 hold on your CC
« on: March 15, 2008, 06:35:40 am »
I immediately backed out of this one when I saw this......right before clicking submit:

You may see a temporary "authorization hold" of $20 on your debit/credit card statement. Rest assured - this is NOT a charge. Most banks will release this temporary hold within 3-5 business days.

Even though its just a hold, I use a PP card and didnt wanna tie up that much money.

If you are using a paypal card and don't have money in your paypal account but have backup funding setup you won't really be charged. I have backup funding set up and the holds don't ever hit my bank account. It only shows up as an authorization on paypal and drops off after like 5 days or however long paypal 's expiration period is.

That's too risky for me-I come to these sites to MAKE money, not spend it!  I'm sure that some people who have done that offer have forgotten to cancel their free trial or whatever and did actually get charged.  I've heard horror stories about some other trials-not on Fusioncash but similar-that make it really hard to cancel and end up charging you for products you don't really want.
