???What does everybody do when a neighbor is constantly doing things to aggrivate you? I try to ignore all this but this certain neighbor is even aggrivating and teasing the dogs then calling the police! I have tried being polite about this issue but that does not work anymore so I am very frustrated about the situation and seeking ideas! :BangHead:

My neighbor behind me is very angry that my home was placed in front of her plot of land, and blocked her view of the mountains. the view I now have. This was not my decision nor did I have any say about it.

The new home was already built and zoned, and on it's on plot of land, when I moved in. She is forever giving me a hard time for blocking her view, and making her home lose thousands of dollars in value because she no longer has a view of the mountains. I just smile and say I'm sorry that the builders "blocked" her view to the mountains. I told her that she should have bought the land right next to her, and then that would have prevented anyone from building in front of her.

Both of our homes sit on a hill that was divided into two plots. The former owner of both plots told her when she bought her home years ago that there would never be anything built on the other plot. Well.......he sold the other plot to someone else down the road who built my house.  Even though I have nothing to do with any of the selling or building, she has targeted me for her frustration.

There's nothing I can do, and would like to be friends, but she is adamant I myself have done this to her. There's no solution to this scenario unless I give up my home....which I'm not going to do.

 I appreciate all the in-put on this subject, I have even called the police but doesn't seem to do any good, I am trying to save enough money for a privacy fence, at this point in time Coldwater has been shot with a pellet gun on a regular basis (have the pellets that were picked up) but not sure "who" is doing that so I can't actually blame that on the neighbor's husband unless he is actually seen doing that, still for the time being I am trying to "get along" but I will throw a fit this year if I catch their boxer digging up my garden (like last year) but I will not be as nice about this summer! ;D

I agree, the neighbor is being a butt head. Maybe you should put a video recorder where the dogs are & catch the jerk in action. Then you might have so leverage with the police. Report them to the animal abuse hotline that at lease would get them to be fined. Worst comes to worst, save up for an electrical fence. That is not for the dogs but for the jerk neighbor. A real shock may help your annoying neighbor from continuing this childish habit.  I hope things get better with this issue for you & your dogs.
