everyone hates rules but without them we would totally mess our selves up. lol. i am the type of person who oddly enough enjoys rules. It helps me to understand my boundaries and gives me direction with setting my goals. If you hate rules, try to encouarge yourself in these facts! good day all!!!!!  :)

everyone needs rules, without them there would be chaos! imagine everyone doing whatever they want? I wouldn't even want to live in a world with no rules.

It all depends on what rules they are and WHO is making them! Remember, some of the greatest minds that lived on this earth questioned the rules! I feel if you go along in life and just do what everyone says is "the thing to do" then you are short-changing yourself and the brain that God gave you.

I could go on and on and ramble for days about why I feel this way. For example, online poker is considered gambling by some, not by all though. The DOJ finally found a way to take the "big 3" online sites down in the U.S. by charging them with fraud, bribery etc. It's a well known fact that the U.S. govt has been out to get the online poker sites for years, see UIGEA act.

Well from my point of view, what is the difference between the clowns that are on Wal Street every day GAMBLING on stocks with absolutely nothing but trends and good vibes to fall back on and the online poker player who is not only using a learned skill but is also using legit math, odds, etc to play the game?? The most frequent argument I hear is online poker sites take in house money profit. LOL, and brokers don't get their share? So Etrade, ScottTrade, TD, etc don't ask for a percentage plus fees!?! And again, tell me why online poker is now illegal in the U.S. but online Stock Trading is not?

This is just one of many reasons why I say, it all depends on the rules and who is making them! It pays to think for yourself sometimes folks. Think about it!! 8)
