Luke 2:8-12......There were also in the same region shepherds living out of doors and keeping watch in the night over their flocks. 9 Suddenly Jehovah’s* angel stood before them, and Jehovah’s* glory gleamed around them, and they became very fearful. 10 But the angel said to them: “Do not be afraid, for look! I am declaring to you good news of a great joy that all the people will have. 11 For today there was born to you in David’s city+ a savior,+ who is Christ the Lord.+ 12 And this is a sign for you: You will find an infant wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in a manger.”

Consider the weather conditions at that time of the year in Bethlehem, where Jesus was born. The Jewish month of Chislev (corresponding to November/December) was a month with cold and rainy weather. The month after that was Tebeth (December/January). It saw the lowest temperatures of the year, with occasional snows in the highlands. Let us see what the Bible tells us about the climate of that region.
The Bible writer Ezra shows that Chislev was indeed a month known for cold and rainy weather. After stating that a crowd had gathered in Jerusalem “in the ninth month [Chislev] on the twentieth day of the month,” Ezra reports that people were “shivering . . . on account of the showers of rain.” Concerning weather conditions at that time of the year, the congregated people themselves said: “It is the season of showers of rain, and it is not possible to stand outside.” (Ezra 10:9, 13; Jeremiah 36:22) No wonder shepherds living in that part of the world made sure that they and their flocks were no longer out of doors at night when December came around!

Wha'd I just say to you? And you're still polluting the thread with Watchtower nonsense.Again, this isn't the place for Bible commentary,Watchtower or otherwise. You want to debate, there's a forum for that.I'm not going to have you ruin this thread,

God’s will is that “all sorts of men should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth.” (1 Timothy 2:4)

TSK tsk....it is you who pollutes the thread with your hypocrisy.

I simply asked you not to post anything but Bible verses. That's what the thread is for.

If you start posting Watchtower teachings, then I have to rebut them, which leads to a debate.

I don't mind a debate but this is NOT a debate thread!

I am not here to debate.Debate means one is more interested in winning an argument etc...and that means more to themselves than teaching Gods word.

Discussion is different. One may have questions or wonder why such and such.Examples of that are in the bible as well.

I see no sense in putting up a scripture if others dont understand it.But again i am not here to debate.

I can tell from the world as well as here in this forum that most are not interested in Gods word!!I prefer to only teach them if they are interested or want to discuss it friendly.

We will leave it at that.I understand exactly how you are.You dont have to comment or listen to my witnessing.I honor God,Jesus and the organization. You arent the only one in this forum listening.

There are opinions in every topic. Not everything has to be debated.Again if you dont agree no one is telling you you have to comment or listen. There are others here too.

I just would like to add and remind all of you that when the apostles argued over who was greater Jesus taught them a lesson by washing their feet.

He told them they werent greater than their master and the lesser of all of them would be greater in kingdom of God.

Ephesians 1:3-10

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.  For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love  he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—  to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.  In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace  that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding,  he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ,  to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.

GAL 5:22....But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

MATH 7:16....
By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?

John 1:1-5,14,18

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.  The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

Have a blessed and Merry Christmas!Joy to the world, the Lord is come!

“You believe there is one God, do you? You are doing quite well. And yet the demons believe and shudder.” (Jas 2:19) “In later periods of time,” warned Paul, “some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to misleading inspired utterances and teachings of demons.” (1Ti 4:1) One cannot eat of Jehovah’s table and at the same time feed from the table of demons. (1Co 10:21) The faithful, therefore, must put up a hard fight against the Devil and his demons, “against the world rulers of this darkness, against the wicked spirit forces in the heavenly places.”—Eph 6:12.
