More than likely spend it alone.  Which is okay, then I can make pecan pies and tarts, and eat them by myself.
I make a tradition T-day turkey diner and have enough food for a week. Best of all I can eat ALL of the olives.

Actually I'm not looking forward to the holidays this year.
Last several years they have been something to get through and be glad when it is done.
This is even when I was around family and celebrating with them.

Bah hum-bug
I was lying in bed the other night, looking up at the stars, and thinking, "Where in the heck is my roof?"

Thanksgiving day will be at home. Over the weekend I'm going to my boyfriend's family's house because my family is too far away.

We will have Turkey, honey ham, yams, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce and rolls.
Then for dessert there will be pumpkin and apple pies.

Yum!!!!  My mouth is watering already.  Tooee, your place sounds like MY place.  Our family gathers at our house -- four children, four spouses, seven grandchildren and my 101 year old mother!  Once the kids started getting married, it was harder to find a time when we could all get together because so many other families and Thanksgiving dinners were involved.  We settled on the day after Thanksgiving as our traditional day.  This year for the first time, my youngest daughter won't be able to attend.  She is headed with her band overseas to entertain the troops!

Thanksgiving will be here as the planners plot their strategy for the after thanksgiving sales.  Hopefully my son and his family can make it up from Ft. Hood.

Still debating as I got engaged so now I must divide up the holidays.  I am thinking of doing thanksgiving with my family and christmas with hers?  How do others split up the holidays?
