does anyone use AIM anymore?

I don't really use instant messaging anymore, but most people I know moved over to the Facebook chat

I never used AIM even when it was "the" messenger of choice.  I rarely use IMs - hard enough keeping up with email.  I use MS Communicator for work - which is convenient, but that's about the only time I use IMs.  I've never really used them for personal conversations - I'd just call the person, just faster that way.

The only IM I use is Skype and I have found tons of referrals that way.

I don't use AIM anymore, but gotta give AOL credit for bringing instant messaging to the mainstream. Back in the late 90's & early 2000's, AIM was the facebook of that generation.

Maybe the MySpace of that generation, but like them they let other services take over because they refused to adapt the changes that were necessary to stay currently viable.

I do.  I still contact my family member under AIM.  But most of my friends under yahoo.

i do and i dont have have much friends on my list anymore coz one is ever on it so i'm like always signed on and no one but yahoo people talk to me.

What is AIM? lol.........so as you can read, NO I don't have AIM! Haha! Maybe someone could tell me what it is? I am getting the impression it is like Yahoo Messenger maybe?
