I drive a lot for my job. Sometimes I'll spend 200 bucks in a week on gas. Most months it's around 4 or 5 hundred bucks.

I try to carpool with my Mom when I can, since we work together, but sometimes her schedule and mine don't fit, and I wind up taking my own car. Between the two jobs I work and the University I drive to once a week, I'd say I drive about 60-70 miles a week. I can usually pull it off by filling up my gas tank once every two weeks, and that usually costs about $50. So in a month, I'd say I spend about $100 for gas. But that's not including my husband's car, which is a gas-guzzler!

now that i've moved closer to work, i'm only
spending about $50 a month on gas, whereas
it was doubled before. i live in town and within
a 10 minute driving distance of anything i need,
as well as family, so i rarely have to travel anymore.
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

It depends.  When it's nice out, I ride my bike to work a lot so that really cuts down on my gas expense.  Now that the weather's getting bad I'll probably be spending $70-$100 per month, yuck.
