I truly believe in God. Those of you that dont believe. Keep living. Just dont die without him. REAL TALK

No, that's your opinion and while you are free to hold it, it has no substantive basis.  Both those who are 'believers' and nonbelievers have died.  There is no evidence of any benefit of being either as both are just as dead now.  The only real difference occurs while living; the former waste their time in self-delusions and the latter do not.  Looks like the nonbelievers have a perceptible net gain, (as oppose to a hypothetical one, based upon 'faith').

I feel that God loves us all weather we believe or not. And yes I love god and know that the goodness inside of me comes from my Father and Mother. (I am a Gnostic Christian)

Absolutely.  If it wasn't for God, I wouldn't be here.  I wouldn't have been given the gift of raising 3 beautiful children.  I wouldn't be able to enjoy all the wonderful smells and sights he's provided for us.  God is Amazing!

There seems to be a lack of evidence to support these claimed attibutions.  Got any or, are they just speculative opinions?

That doesn't follow since, if some do not believe in the existence of such a deity, (and there is no validly-attributible evidence of one), then there isn't one to dispense 'love' or anything else.

Interesting.  Any access to translations of the Dead Sea scrolls?

You better check yourself before you wreck yourself!  Do you know what 'gnostic' means?

It means you are claiming to have knowledge of something; i.e. you "know" god is real based on actual facts, not beliefs.

Any honest Christian is an AGNOSTIC Christian.

Without religion there is no 'good'

This may be your belief, but it is patently false.  As a man who claims to appreciate logic, you've made an error here.

Without an ultimate judge as to the good of an action the action could never be considered good.  To qualify something as good it must persist permanently as such and not be subjective.  Without the implications of religion (actually I suppose a religion based upon an eternal deity) there is no eternal decision of an action and thus it cannot be good.  You can try to use a consensus decision about whether something is good or not but this is subjective and volatile and has no weight.  In fact such a consensus can often be proven as both good and not good.  Good for one is often bad for another.  In the various cultures and religions and regions of the Earth there are many contradicting classifications of what is or isn't good.  Realizing such one has no choice but to face the truth that word is useless except in a case where it is permanent and ultimate and such is not in the realm of men to be capable of deciding.

In your world that should be full of unlimited pursuits you choose to live as the most lowly and cowardly bottom-feeder imaginable, seemingly without dreams or ambitions or any understandings of the freedoms that should be blatantly obvious to your stance.

Bringing the audience up to speed: Abrupt feels that atheists should be raping, murdering thieves, otherwise they're not worthy of the title.  lulz

I never said they should be "raping, murdering thieves" and I find it odd your inclination is to use emotional base imagery.  The atheist should be quiet about who they are and should approach life as a hunter would its prey.  There is no ill will or intentions of the atheist, it is all purely to enjoy this fleeting existence to the best that is possible.  Even endurance should be second place to enjoyment as that is the only stimuli that would qualify as having any value (even though it is ultimately an illusion itself).  No action committed by the atheist would subject to any judgement, except by them.  The greatest human threat to the atheist (in a stable environment) would indeed by another atheist, the least threat would be a devoutly religious person (since the religious would be obvious and predictable).

It is pure foolishness -- not that you do believe as I do, but that you believe as you do but live much the same as I do.

On the contary, it is actually the other way around.  Believers who live similarly to nonbelievers do so because they don't take their faith hook, line and sinker.   ;)

If you are unbound by religion why do you struggle so in life?  You want money why don't you claim what is yours by right of will?  Why choose to be as sheep among people when you describe yourself as a wolf?
There are only 10 types of people in the world:  those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Why would I want to be ethical?

Because human animals only act for 2 reasons: either to gain pleasure, or to avoid pain.  Unless you're a sociopath, for most people, it would bring emotional PAIN to harm others in an extreme way.  And even if you are a sociopath, the chances of the PAIN of the event outweighing the pleasure is statistically likely when you get your *bleep* carted off to jail and lose all of that "freedom" you speak of.

Overconfident much?  You are forgetting that certain conditions need to exist for you to even have a chance of "ruling over others", and a person who writes for $3 per month on a forum is probably in the furthest position away from power that one could be.

Are you seriously saying you would play a video game and actively elect to be the assistant to a shopkeeper?  Me I would bash the shopkeepers skull in at the first opportunity in such a game and then set traps to slay my customers.

A video game is hardly a comparison to real life.  Plenty of people enjoy doing exactly what you speak of, under the condition that the situation isn't real.  They aren't real people with whole lives and families that you're polishing off, they are figments of fantasy.

Yes, I do.  Question is do you believe in tomorrow, if you do than believe there is a God, because he woke you up this morning.  No alarm clock did that or someone waking you up, God touched you with the finger of life and that is why you are here.  BELEIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, our cat stood on my chest to wake me by mewing for breakfast.  Wait, are you suggesting that my cat is a "god", (throwback to the ancient Aegyptian neteru)?

No alarm clock did that or someone waking you up, God touched you with the finger of life and that is why you are here.  BELEIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I resisted the temptation to respond to "god touched you with the finger" part at first and will just mention the false attribution bit, (a fabricated cause and effect is one that lacks supporting evidence, like "god" giving someone the finger).

What do you designate such an "intelligent creator" as?
