I say yey, but only if the tattoo is meaningful. A lot of young people tend to forget that tattoos are a permanent fixture on your body and get caught up in the hype of just getting one. Personally I think tattoos are a work of art, and you shouldn't get a tattoo just for the hell of it. All of my tattoos were very thought out and have so much personal meaning to me that I'm okay with looking at them even when I turn 70.

when i got my tat i was 17 and was fighting a lot so i go myself a fourleaf clover that says fighting irish on it.  i really like it still and do not regret getting it at all.  Its your body so you should be able to put whatever you want on it, especially if its expressing yourself.

I may be wrong, but I think NAUGHT having a tattoo is rating higher: within' the "minority crowd" lately. 

I myself prefer seeing: others tattoo's, than to ever consider wanting one of my own. 

I don't like anything enough to paint it into my skin. Not even this one>>>  , even though she is so cute. *giggles*

Absolute Yey!  I have three so far, and will be getting at least two more.  I waited a long time (til late 30's) to get mine, I thought about it a long time first.  They're addicting, and I like seeing people's tats.  They're so personal, and most people will be happy to tell you about them.  That's always interesting to me.

I have a black panther on my left arm...I would like another, but not sure what I want right now.  Tats are cool, for me I just want a few, not into the full sleeves or back pieces.
