How Many People Use Home Remedies?

I think home remedies are remarkable.  Some of them sound really out there and I feel a little foolish for wanting to try them but the majority of the time they actually work.  Does anyone have any suggestions on a good all-around book of them?  Thanks

There are not many books that you can find that have all of them, but there are books out there. My mother had one called the Herb Bible something like that. I'm sure you look around Barns and Nobles you can find something useful.

I use baking soda for upset stomach

I use apple cider vinegar for lots of things; I had a cold sore on my mouth and sprayed some from a tiny spray bottle.
I took it diluted for a very red sore throat; my throat cleared up and wasn't red anymore within a few hours.
I take it a bit before bedtime to help sleep.
I used it on a very dry patch of skin when NOTHING else was working. It cleared it up.

My mother uses Apple Cider Vinegar to help with her diabetes, along with cinnamon, black tea before a meal, I know there are other just can't remember them.
