While I agree with freedom of choice, I don't get what she was thinking. There should have been a limit on something like that.

Freedom of choice? That should only be given to those who are in the right state of mind. That woman is obviously out of her mind, and it really is a great shame that no one did anything about it, and just allowed her to do such a thing.

I don't think that anyone will ever understand what that woman was thinking, but what is done is done.  There is no sense dwelling on it.  I just hope that the childern will have a healthy and fullfilling life.

Those children are going to suffer for the rest of their lives as a result of their mother's insanity.

Their lives have been put under a microscope. The whole world now knows all about their lives and their living conditions and such. Of course they are going to suffer. 20 years from now, those children are going to be known as the children of that crazy lady. It's the same as any child who has been put under media attention negatively.

The media are reason that people are going to think that.  Just like the election, they will use their power to pursade people to think the way they want.  Thank goodness there are people out there like myself that can think for themselves.

The woman  definitely has a mental problem.  And what was the Doctor thinking to even allow such a person to continue down this mental road of self  destruction.  She already has 6 six kids that she couldn't support adequately.  Why didn't she simply give those eggs to someone who dearly wanted kids and could support them  Some people will do anything for that 15 minutes of fame, no matter who has to suffer.

I don't agree that a mother can't take care of that many children but in this case, she's definitely certified.  She was not and is not in the right state of mind to raise those babies.  I don't know how they'll turn out but I can only hope she gets some good help and the kids turn out okay.  It's just awful how she expects donations of money, goods, and services and how she thinks that she deserves government aide.  Just awful.

That's easy, she saw dollar signs. She knew what would come If she had more kids, especially 8 more. It sickens me to see females have children then not take care of them. I'm 29 and have no kids at the moment. I know I'm not capable of caring for a baby which Is why I decided to wait until I can. My boyfriend agree's with me 100%.

 First she has the right to have as how many kids as she wants it's her right. How is it any different from a father leaving six young children for their mother alone to take care off. Secondly she knows exactly what she's doing, she knew very well the viewers and listeners would eat it all up because we always have something to say, we can't keep our mouths shout to save our lives. Lastly, the more we talk about it and the more coverage we give her is more power to her. Everyone's trying to make her look crazy, and irresponsible but she's laughing her to the bank and she's on her way to a good lifestyle. We're just playing her game, that's all that is.

a woman does have the right, sure. what people are most concerned with - the babie's rights. so, maybe someone should step in (and we're not even talking about god-given ability to conceive-this was science at work!) this was carelessness to intentionally have babies that she could not provide for - that is what makes so many angry. Look at the Dueggars???(something like that)-they have 18 kids. no one is hateful toward them because they can provide for their kids.

Better her than me!  Where did she get the money to keep going to the doctors?  Did anyone see the house they were living in with her mother and father before she got pregnant with the other 8?  They seemed as if they were already struggling before that!  I am not understanding!!!!  Now she seems to have all the money and help she needs.  Maybe she did this just to get help and attention.

Unfortunately it's not your right to keep your tax dollars from funding her irresponsibility and plain stupidity (along with all the other people who act irresponsibly then look for welfare checks immediately).
