any religion can put out a verse that says ppl who don't believe in that god are fools

but can you back it up or can you just copy or type a scripture?

i'm willing to debate to show that followers of god are the fools... i won't just say that i will back it up if you want

and as for the lady talking about it being petty well you are right you replying to that was petty... if it didnt matter then you didnt need to respond and you indulge in petty things just like you say falcon did

I think the only "fools" are people who believe their religion is the only way for everyone. If you don't believe the same as them, you will not make it to heaven. I think this is naive thinking. If you are a true christian, you do not judge (even though that is human nature!)--people will be judged by God, right? not by humans--we don't have the right or the power to judge others on their right to pass on to heaven.
I am not a religious person, and I don't believe in a "God", but I respect the fact that some people do. The only problem I have is when a religious person looks down on me and quotes scripture to make me feel stupid or not worthy of  them. I am not stupid, I am educated, and maybe that is why I have an opinion about religion that doesn't fit with the "true believers".
I don't like the fact that in most religions it is against the rules to ask questions. Just believe, don't question--right? If you begin to question that scares the church that other members will stray away, when all I really want is answers to my philosophical question.

Not in the Payments forum, however - unless there's some inherently untenable suggestion that these be paid for.

I say "Not in the Forums, period!" Personally, I would find it highly offensive if FC allowed this. This is NOT a biblical clearing house for Christian members only. It is a site [primarily] designed to make FC and the members of FC money, the Forums are a 'bonus', literally and figuratively. When saying 'daily devotional', I (and I'm sure almost 100% of others seeing it) immediately think Bible passages. Anyone care to predict what would happen if our members who are or who follow teachings of the Quran/Koran, Santerķa (voodooism), Borucas (believe in the devil and believe he protects nature/animals/surroundings) decided to post devotionals from their respective 'religions' which go against any and all beliefs in the Christian God? Fingers would be burning up keyboards in order to argue against the heresy and blasphemy those 'non-Christians' have every right to post.

If members want to put their little gems of [Xtian] wisdom on a website, they can go to any 1 of the thousands of religious communities out in cyberspace! This is still America, I still vote, I still do not believe in God, I still work and pay taxes to keep my freedom and every other citizen's freedom alive, and because of this, I still have a voice and a vote....and I will NOT surrender either of those so this site can cater to Christians. If this idea were to go through and gain approval, I want MY own subtopic in order to give a 'daily' health thought and/or tip, notifications of new drugs and treatments - anything pertaining to taking care of our bodies. Ridiculous? Yes. However, it's NOT as ridiculous as the thought of filling endless pages with tokens of scripture on an incentive based website!

well im guessing if you don't like the topics you are not forced into participating in the forum. You're in the minority being a non Christian and minorities (as seen in the past get stepped on) so either accept it or go to ONE OF THOSE 1000s OF ATHIEST FORUMS and complain about it there... If you don't like the way this site "scaters to Christians"? then don't be a part of it its simple

I did NOT say this site caters (not "scaters") to Christians. I said IF the site decided to allow a place dedicated to daily devotionals, that would be catering to them. It has NOT happened, so do not tell me, "then don't be a part of it its simple".

Gee, I am "in a minority"?! Glad you pointed that out because I never noticed it - sarcasm intended and would have written "[sic]" to indicate that, but I know it would go over your head. Minorities have a voice and I will continue to use mine.  I do not need to take up a hobby such as sewing, which you suggested in another post. My sewing skills are quite accomplished. Rarely does a patient of mine have a very visible scar nor do they have keloids because I do not have to revise my surgeries multiple times 'to get it right'. Also, I do NOT have too much time on my hands, since I work more hours/week than you probably do in a month. Have a great weekend!

Conversely, if someone disagrees with a topic they have the same option to express their dissent viewpoint as any other member of FC.  No one has "forced" religious adherents, (or anyone else), to participate in the forums or, post what content they choose to post.

Your response contains the inherent assumption that FC is a xtian forum.  That assumption is false; FC forums are not some exclusive 'xtian forums', (as the forum catagories indicate). These forums are for members who come from all walks of life, even 'faith-blinded xtians'.

Any member of FC has the option to post to a forum topic or, choose not to.  It is also anyone's choice to disregard your incoherent 'demands'.  I know I disregard them.

"Wrong" about what?  The evidence and your own admission to your simplistic 'diabolical plot' are archived for review by the FC forum moderators.  They determine who and what to moderate, not you or I.

This "sammy" is a participant in keeping the 'conversation' going so, you may want to take her babblings with a large grain of salt, (one the size of a large asteroid may do it).

As you can see from her remark, "sammy" enjoys telling other people what to do and becomes quite annoyed when the 'orders' of the 'princess' are not promptly obeyed.  Naturally, such 'royal commands' can be summarily disregarded as she's no 'princess', (much to her unrealized chagrin).

The FC member "madeara" posts using a picture of a female and while this doesn't necessarily mean that the poster is female, your other assumptions do not follow either.  As mentioned, there are a large number of archived posts of the same spamming nature as the one you're approving of, (your approval of spam-posts is unsurprising).
