Just wanted to let yall know that my computer totally crashed due to Trojan and several viruses.  Took 5 hours on the phone with Dell and over $200 to get it fixed.  I very seldom ever go to sites other than those thru FusionCash so feel like I must have picked this stuff up at one of the sponser's sites after we get redirected to another site.  Just FYI
Just to let EVERYONE know that Microsoft has the free, YES, free download and it works just as good as the virus protection I was paying for every year. Microsoft Security Essentials down load off of Microsoft website  http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id= copy this and it will take you to the right place. :thumbsup:

I too use an anti virus that's always scanning for viruses ;D and have yet to get any,same program scans and cleans any and all malware and spyware, my computer runs like it did right from the box it came in. the anti virus I have is called "Charter Security Suite" It's free with my Internet package. I Love how it always runs in the background and it catches everything.

How did this start? My computer is starting to run very slow. Hate to think it's a virus in the start.

Mine started running slower and slower and then all of a sudden it crashed.  Hope that's not what yours is leading up to.

if you have an outstanding virus protection software then you shouldn't have to worry about getting any viruses because they are designed to catch them at the first sign of a threat,when I get a threat mine will warn me of the impending virus and not only stop it but will remove any part that has begun downloading. If viruses are getting into your computer,you should seriously consider getting a different virus protection.Mine updates every single day and I get mine free with my internet package.

@HuffmanFamilyof4......

It's okay to post links of this kind, we just can't post referral links to other money-making programs.

If you back any essential data up every week or so, then you can just reformat your hard drive and boot the os from scratch.  It's cheaper than paying 200 dollars and wasting time with a rep.  Just save all your drivers and anything else you don't want to re-download onto an extra storage device.

It is important to keep in mind that MSEssentials is limited to just 3 operating systems: Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP. You must also have genuine Windows installed on your PC meaning your computer came with Windows based operation factory installed vs anyone who changed over to it using a method other than buying the real Windows software. Not having the correct parameters and trying to install MSE can result in a huge mess if you don't know what you're doing. Just a 'heads up' I wanted to add. ;)
