I also live in a small town where everyone knows everyone and what they are doing.  Also worked for the City for over 30 years and I run into people all the time that say "Don't I Know You?"

I feel that the area I am in lacks diversity and culture. You find very little people on the streets and there is a strange disconnect between people. It's ironic because many houses/condos are built in these "communities" yet everything feels so isolated from one another. The scenery here is nice though but there's just too much land and not enough population density in my opinion.

I'm not a real big fan of winter but I can take most of it as long as it's not slick - I hate slick!

I live in Ohio, but now I go back and forth to Florida, I hate the cold winter, dreary gray sky in Ohio in the fall and winter months!
