Where is the best place for getting referrals?

Without giving you a direct reply to that question, let me say you have a great resource here in using the forum. Yes you can ask questions first, or you could consider searching the forum for information and then ask questions. Mainly to get updated information. It will be a lot harder for sure, but you will see some answers here already. Also look for  few people with high income banners or pages that say they are willing to help you out.

make your site with a  blog thats what i do i get about 2 refs a day from it on average.talk about every facet of the site and what you do personally to make cash

Starting a Blog is simple and easy, so if you want more referrals that's the VERY LEAST you should do.
