There is an entire topic dedicated to proof of payments so yes people do get paid from taking surveys and other tasks on here. If you finish a survey too far away from the average time then you may not get credited and always leave the final page open until you've seen that you've been credited

Yes they do and I also enjoy doing some of the tasks, they might pay a penny at a time but they are fun.
