I am thankful for having a roof over my head, food on the table, clothes on my back, and waking up every morning to see another beautiful day. I have a lot to be thankful for.

my other half, the deer in my back pasture, my veggie garden, my chickens (including the one I killed and ate for dinner tonight) my fishing gear and boat, my spinning wheel and loom-- and knowing how to take care of myself and the people I love.

Thank God for all that Im thankful for.
I am thankful for so much.  My health and my family.  God is so good.
That's easy.  My relationship with the Lord. :angel12: :angel12: :angel12:

It sure didn't take long for the fundamentally-blinded by religious faith to knee-jerk those predictable false attributions to supernatural superstition.

I'm thankful for that which actually can be attributed as cause for thanks, (rather than some mythological non-source).
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

my other half.....the deer in my back pasture......

Hmmmm........these might be one and the same in my world......

 :o  :-X

(Still thankful, though! ;D)

..........my chickens (including the one I killed and ate for dinner tonight)........

Okay, NOW I'm thankful that killing my dinner is NOT something I have to do.....

  to you though, elandry, for enjoying what sounds like a simpler way of life.
(Simpler wasn't really the word I was looking for here, but I couldn't get a mental grip on the word I WAS looking for)

How come it won't play?

I am so thankful for my life and happiness!  I am also thankful for the insight and maturity to realize that we all are growing and learning everyday and I have so much more tolerance for everyone especially myself because we are just learning and growing and you do not "know" till you "know".   I always heard when the student is ready the teacher will appear . . . makes more sense now.  When you are open to learning, knowledge is waiting.  Our individual experiences also shape us.  I am so thankful for knowlege I have gained out of tough situations.  I am very blessed.

Congratulations!  ;D

I am thankful my husband has a good paying job. He earns a little more then 50,000 a year. We are a family of 3, which is a good income to pay bills, mortgage and have a little extra.

My remarks preceded the false religious attributions, 'genius'.  You can call an accurate prediction "bs" if your non-reasoning compels you to.

I suppose queenofnines will be following suit too?

She hasn't been on much recently and most certainly isn't a mindless xtian sheeple ba-ing in unison as your herd does.

There's a new energy drink that I recommend fo u falconey9, its called J & G (Jesus and God) Its quite the thirst quencher ...

I don't drink the mind-poisoning kool-aid of blind faith so, no thanks.
