sandals or flip flops

I prefer sandals over flipflops... The sort that go across the top of your foot just above your toes. Flip flops give me terrible blisters.  Happy for the summer months, and the convenience of sandals!

I like both sandales and flip flops,but if your older i dont recomend wearing flip flops cause of tripping,sandals are much safer

I used to wear flip flops a lot when I was younger, but now I only wear sandals because I'm usually at work. I'm currently looking for something with more sole that wold be more comfortable, because at 8 months pregnant my sandals get my feet really sore. I find myself wanting to be in a cheap rubber pair of flip flops, lol!

Sandals!  Coming from someone who has had surgery on one foot.  Flip flops offer 0 support and are destined to destroy the healthy bone structure of a foot if worn to much.  Granted I have my one pair that I use to throw on when I run outside to get the mail (and I know it's bad for my tootsies) But the more sole and the more support the better.  No matter how old or how young you are.

Sandals for me. I really do not like the thing that goes between the toes. Arches are bad so it might be orthapedic shoes for me.

I agree. I dont like the in between the toes thingee. I always feel like I am hugging the ground with my toes just to keep my flip flops from falling off!  So. It is Sandals for me... prefer the kind I can wear in water. But I have a pair of dress sandals for special occasions.  I never knew I had so much to say about sandals!

   I do not where either sandals or flip flops, but if I had to wear one of them...I would wear the sandals over the flip flops

  Actually I would go barefoot everywhere if I could get away with it. But to answer your question flip flops are as close to bare foot as I can get.

I like to wear Tevas.  They are just like wearing regular shoes only I can wear them when running through rivers/ponds with my dogs and are extremely comfortable.  My last pair lasted nine years and I am on year seven with my new pair.  My feet can air out after wearing work shoes all day.  I will wear flip flops as a second choice but only if I don't have a lot of walking to do.  Sandals always rub my feet the wrong way and leave me with blisters.  As soon as I don the after work footwear I accesorize with a t-shirt, shorts and a twenty five year old watch!
