Yes my hobby is railroads.  I enjoy the multiple facets of how our railroad transportation system continues to evolve and work as it trasnports goods and people from place to place.

Well I don't know what your "etc" covers, but I understand.  I sew, knit, crochet, cross stitch and make jewelry.  I've also started locker hooking and have tried needle felting.  I tried to learn tatting but found that my crochet skills gave me the wrong tension.  I draw in pencil, charcoal and tech pen and I'm a photographer too.  Oh, and there's tube knitting.

I've found some patterns I'm interested in trying that mix beaded jewelry with knit or crochet.

There's also recycled art, that is art that reuses / recycles / repurposes things that might otherwise be thrown away.  See a website called Recycle Post for ideas.

I crochet blankets and scarfs, I made key chains, bracelets, pillows and my best thing in the world to do is working on cars.   I love to work with my hands and see what they design or can come up with I really enjoy all of the arts and crafts..You should never give up crochet it's long work and deserved in the end...

I tried scrapbooking and quickly learned I don't have an eye for it.
I really enjoy making jewelry, and a lot of people like the pieces I make.
I've considered setting up a shop on etsy to sell some of my work.

I love to read, but I love to listen to audiobooks even more. The text can really come alive with the right narrator. Sports and biographies are my favorites. Just a couple of recommendations, but I really enjoyed listening to Playing for Keeps Michael Jordan and the World He Made by David Halberstam and Dreams from my father by Barack Obama. Playing for Keeps is hard to find in the unabridged (better) version and is only on cassette so it would have to be transferred to CD. I have a few hobbies. I like read books, i like to crochet, and i also like to make flower arrangements. Sometimes after a hard day and ripping and running with sports for the kids, i just want to relax and do something soothing for me. Out of all three i like reading the best.

I used to draw, but now I only doodle ha ha, usually in a class I will color a whole notebook artistic though. I also like games on my phone and learning new stuff all the time.

I love anything creative. My favorite is making something from nothing/scrap. At the moment I am busy doing a lot of DIY around the house (also fun) and "painting" a picture with seeds and grains.

I like to sell my unwanted items online and I love to paint.  Find something that you no longer use or is bad condition and give it a fresh coat of paint!  It is relaxing and you have a fresh new piece to use, gift or sell!  I found a homemade wooden box at my mom's.  I painted it blue with lime green polka dots, and put my 3 year old's foot prints in white paint on the top.  It is now a precious little step stool in his bathroom!  It kept slipping around, so I put a bead of hot glue around the bottom and now it's perfect!  It is very satisfying!
