My family spent Thanksgiving with my Mom and sister.  We had a good time.

Family and Holiday, food and gifts, I will be glad when it's over.  I love being with family and friends, but hate the hussle and the traffic.  Love seeing the kids open presents and hate all the clean up, but it will be over with soon.

so one holiday down spent with inlaws, promised the big one to my mom and dad, gonna have 20 people there ,no gifts for them hope they understand
I  have always heard "It's not the gift that counts" and if your relatives are like mine, they are more interestied in the fellowship than any gift. I make many of my gifts. and "The thought that counts". Burn a CD or make a slideshow. Most everyone has a computer and likes music. Personalizing makes anyone feel special and I think that is what the Holiday spirit is all about. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

:) The holidays are for family and friends. I was very poor as a child and because of that, I look forward to meeting family and friends and don't worry about presents.

I would like to buy presents for everyone, but often I just cannot afford it right now. We get creative though. We send cards with a deeply written meaning inside. We dont spend much and people feel appreciated and loved.
Lord Jesus Christ is the only way for eternal salvation from sins. Jesus loves you.
