Are Referrals Necessary?

I have no problem with doing $15 of the $25 cashout amount in offers.  There's plenty to do in those categories.  But does the remaining $10 have to be bonuses only?  Other than the $3 bonus for posting in the forum and the $5 bonus for joining, I am not seeing other types of bonuses.  While I enjoy doing this kind of stuff, not everyone does so I hate to try to actively recruit referrals each month.  Suggestions anyone?

No, your entire requested cash out could be in offers alone, (just not in bonuses alone).  Referral income is a bonus 'bonus', if one can get them.

Thanks for the response.  I wondered because I saw a post that implied that the rest had to be bonuses.  It's possible that I misunderstood though.

That's understandable however, FC's policy is that at least $15 of a minimum cash out request must consist of completed offers, (and the remainder can consist of bonuses).  Of course, one may have more than $15 in completed offers and more/less in bonuses, (as long as the $25 minimum is met).

I'm sure.  The referral system seems a lot more generous than others I've seen.  Until I get my first cashout without a hassle, I'm not willing to refer family and friends just yet.

I do not want to refer family and friends for something I haven't asked them about beforehand.   No one I have asked is interested.

  I have 4 referrals two of them are family members but  I just need them to be active. I only had one who did a bonus and I got $2.00 from that person but I am coming up with different ideals to get more referrals. I am blogging, posting on social sites and free classified ads.

Learning to get referrals is well worth the effort and I do NOT believe there is anyone posting in this forum that can't learn how. It just takes concentrated study, like any other money making activity on or off the Internet. Of course it helps to have someone who has done it to lead the way, but even then it's up to you to take action and apply what they teach you.

I know what you mean.  I don't want to have my emails go in someone's spam folder or they avoid me because they feel that I am always badgering them about joining FC.  The one person who asked me about has never followed through I suppose since he got a full-time job shortly after I sent him the links to other sites I'm on and have already cashed out through.

No referrals are not necessary but another avenue to earn extra cash and help you cash out quicker!

I am actively looking for referrals now. My system is not in place but I have started writing. Today I sent a person to my "test" blog. Just going through some motions at first. If you were my family or friend and didn't tell me how you were making some extra cash. I would certainly put you on blast. If your Aunt Nelly asked you what is new just put it in the conversation. Making a little spending money online auntie! She may or may not be interested. I mentioned to a friend and he said, "..I'll do a few surveys for you." People do things for a lot of reasons, need, greed, friendship, curiosity, etc. I cashed out one month early due to a referral.
