how many of us drink

I drink more now than I ever did. I get severe headaches and this is the only thing that I have found to help. I have gotten pain medication and it doesnt always work.

Usually on holidays, but this year, I didn't drink on T-day, Christmas, or NYE. Don't know why but just didn't. It wasn't planned or anything like a conscientious choice.

I do not drink on a regular basis.  I like an occasional mixed drink or a glass of wine about twice a month.

I do. This week I drank a lil too much with the holiday get togethers and I am back on my water now.

When I go out for Mexican Food, I have a margarita, on the rocks with salt... i have the makings at home but don't make it at home for some reason...

I do not drink and I don't like to see people abuse drinking, when they get drunk and out of control its not good at all!!!

I drink socially and don't plan on ever quitting.

I drank daily for 30 years. If the folks at AA had their way, I would have killed myself with the bottle. Thank God for alternative programs. (Yes, they do exist and they do work.)

I do, prob'ly a little more than I should... I run karaoke at a local bar, so I usually have 2-3 during the show. Also on the weekends (usually on Saturdays) I'll go out with friends and watch the bands playing at the clubs. Every once in awhile I'll go a little overboard and end up with a hangover the next day, but that's usually during holidays and birthdays... For the most part, though, I drink maybe twice a week with 2-3 drinks each occasion.

When I was in grad. school, I drank much more often. I was out in Buffalo, NY at the time, and the Bills were close to making the playoffs and the Sabers got to the Stanley Cup Conference Finals (the border battle with Toronto). Thus almost every night I was out at a local bar eating wings and drinking beer. I gained so much weight during that time, however, so after I graduated, I tried limiting the amount of times I go out as well as how much I drink each time I do. I have since then lost most of that weight I had gained and feel healthier too.

I do drink but I do it for many reasons. I consider myself more of a social drinker. Whereas, I drink for a specific reason. For instance, I will drink for relaxations purposes occasionally, for some good news, or when I am on vacation. I dont drink to the point to where I or society considers me at the drunk level. For instance if it's Christmas day I will drink a little something, If it's New Year's Day I will drink something, if it's a birthday of mine, friend, or family, at a party or if I go out for Happy hours(which is not that often). Basically, I drink for pleasure and not because I just have to have a drink.

     What do you mean by driking? We all drink something. I drink lots of water every day. No alcohol!...please.
