My daughter use to get strep throat all the time until she had her tonsils removed.  She hasn't had an episode with them since.
Have a wonderful day!

Some people are just more prone.  I have suffered with strep infections all my life.  I was one of 8 kids and I was the only one who ever got it!  And we all lived in the same house!

It is very important to take antibiotics to treat strep throat.  If left untreated, strep throat can worsen and become scarlet fever.  I hope you feel better soon.

I take Ear, Nose, & Throat Defense, a "good" bacterial supplement that helped me avoid winter diseases this year.  I had strep throat several times in the past and was susceptible to recurrent colds/sore throat problems before I started taking this.

I know this seems a little extreme but I put a capful of bleach in my dishwasher when I wash dishes. I also insist they my people brush their teeth in the morning before using utensils etc. :notworthy:
