Any die hard fans watch this show?
Sat down and watched the entire first 2 seasons and LOVE it.
Who are your favorite characters?
I'd have to say the Dragon lady, and of course Sansa and Aria. Like John Snow too.
Just looking for other die hard fans out there to connect with and discuss this awesome show.
Oh, and if you didn't know IMDb rated it a 9.4, yeah it's that awesome.

I'm a big fan, although I'm more of a fan of the books that the series is based on. With the books, the way that Martin writes each chapter from the point of view of a particular character really gets you to understand the characters on a deeper level. You sort of miss that with the TV series. Also I've began to notice more inconsistencies between the books and the TV series, which at times gets a little distracting (season 1 seemed more on par with the books than season 2, and I'm guessing future seasons will also begin to drift away from the books).

From the books, my favorite characters are Arya, Bran, and Tyrion while in the TV series, Tyrion is hands down my favorite, but I also enjoy Arya and Cersie. I really dislike how Roose Bolton is portrayed in the TV series... His nickname "The Leech Lord" is due to his use of "medical" leeching, to comport with our ancient beliefs that this bloodletting helped to balance the humors. In the books he is described as being of a pale complexion and soft-spoken (so much so that people strain to listen when he speaks) both probably related to his anemic condition resulting from his leeching. However he is seen in the series as being much more vigorous, excitable, and vocally loud. I also thought that Jon Snow seems much more reserved and brooding in the series than he does in the books.

Im not really.  But  my husband is a devoted fan.  Season 2 is just beginning and he's enjoying himself with it.
