Yes I am staying home for Memorial Day.  My daughter has to work so there is no need to go to her house.  I guess I will just have a party here for myself.

According to the AAA, most of us will stay close to home on Memorial Day weekend, saving our vacation dollars for a longer summer vacation.

My work requires me to work during memorial day, but at least I can telecommute if I want to. I do get at least a a floater day during another time of the year of my choosing. I usually save this for the summer when going on my longer vacation.

Yesterday we went for a walk at Ijams but today it's been raining some so we'll probably just enjoy the rest of time around home. Our city however has been having a lot of different free activities to do also.

I have today completely off from both jobs (and then working both jobs on Mon & Tues).  Staying home, cleaning house & rearranging the home office, doing some work on-line and relaxing with the dog & cats.     Have a happy & safe holiday everyone!!
