Have you had Jeni's Ice Cream? I think it is located in the Short North, North Market and Dublin. I was only introduced to it recently. They use organic grassfed dairy and have amazing flavors like honey pistachio. I cut & pasted a few from the website.

THAT'S just crazy! i was just in columbus for a weekend vacation
about a month or two ago and went to the drexel theater...
jeni's is right down the street and while i was walking around
checking out the area, i went in and tried their "coconut rum"
...its such a cute little place. i had never heard of it before  :D

[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

We took a tour of Europe WAY.................................back when I was in high school. At the street side carts they offered pistachio ice cream without the walnuts in it. I think it was in Italy. We loved it. When we came back to the States we looked all over for just pistachio without any nuts and could not find it. It was so delicious. Interesting how texture plays such a big part of the eating experience. It was much better without the nuts.

in europe  all the "ice cream is different than here.....

It's not as heavy...

and goes great with coffee (like an espresso)

I lived in Germany for 2 1/2 years and miss sitting on the canal, sipping espresso, and eating ice cream....
