« on: August 06, 2013, 08:20:02 am »
I was stopped by a police officer and he had the nerve to try and come on to me it was the most discussing thing I ever encounter being that he was a police a officer so I asked him for his badge number witch he didn't give to me  and I still got the ticket that sucks and didn't tell me way I got stopped in the first place.

Check your ticket.  Around here at least, the ticket includes the officer's name and badge number.  If you feel he acted inappropriately, file a report.  But, to be brutally honest, nothing  much will probably come of it.  Unless you had some kind of proof (ie. video), it's just a he said/she said type of thing.  The department is always going to side with their own in those cases.

I'd still file a complaint. Although nothing may come of it if this was the only reported incident, if this particular officer has several complaints filed against him from several different women, they may look into the matter more.

I don't disagree.  I'd still file a complaint.  It's just nothing really comes from these things, even with multiple complaints.  I have seen instances with actual video proof of inappropriate behavior, and the department's response is either desk duty or paid administrative leave (unless it's truly egregious, in which case they lose their job).  Some punishment.

His ID has to be on the ticket.  Contact the local municipality to place a complaint.  If that doesn't work, contact the state police to place a complaint.  Was he in a patrol car or an unmarked car?  I won't stop for an unmarked car unless it is in a highly populated area.
Have a wonderful day!

His badge number should be on the ticket and possibly his name.  I would report it, you don't know how many other times he has done this, and who knows....if he continues and doesn't get caught what his next step might be!
