This happens to me from time to time.  Lately it has been a song that I don't even know the name of it or who sings it.  It's from the movie "The Sitter".  The keeps saying "Ah yeah, cuz I got it like that."

Just about any song I've heard recently or that I get reminded of will stick in my head.

My only relief is to repeatedly sing, "This is the song that never ends" until my brain lets go of the song that was stuck. 

That almost always takes care of it. And no, the other song goes away like magic. 

This is a phenomenon that does not improve with age, I'm sorry to say.

Song Sung Blue by Neil Diamond.  Just have to think about it and the tune pops into my head and plays over and over.

All the time.  It could be song I hear on the radio or in a movie, but most times it is a song that we have practiced on sang at church in the choir.

Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke. I'm tired of the song,but everytime i hear the song  i catch myself singing even after the song goes off.
