I don't think I sing very well but was talked in to joining the church choir.  I was told the buckets to carry the tune were provided by the church.  I was told to just make a joyful noise for the Lord.  I wonder if He is tone deaf?
Have a wonderful day!

Can you sing? If so,  do you sing in a choir, or do you sing for fun?
 ;D
Well, let me just say yes to that question. I can sing but the REAL question is "DO YOU WANT TO HEAR ME SING"? I am tone deaf and only would I might sound good if I had my head in a bucket.LOL I envy people who can sing well and I wish that I had that talent. I am still searching for my talent and I have dwindled the list down greatly. Singing is NOT my talent. :sad1:

Everyone can sing. It's just a matter of whether or not they try and how bad they think they sound. I have sung in church choir and in Sweet Adelines. For those who do not know, Sweet Adelines are lady barbershop quartets. They sing in big groups usually, but each part is sung separately (lead, tenor, baritone, and bass].

Tenor is the highest voice. I was a tenor. Sweet Adelines have chapters all over the country. Our local chapter is closed now and I miss it. It is a lot of fun to hear all that harmony. ;D

I sing really well in the shower, of course. If you don't think you can sing well, try singing in the shower.

The acoustics make you sound awesome.  8)

I can sing, and have sung before a few hundred people. These days, I just sing for my family. I love singing, it brings me great joy.

I enjoy singing a lot and have sung in church and community choirs.  I love singing harmony with the radio, but I was not born to sing in front of an audience.  My daughter, on the other hand, is a singer/songwriter/fiddle player who makes her living singing.  Check her out at nataliestovall.com

In my car - yes.

On a stage - nope.

I prefer playing an instrument to singing.  :)

I LOVE to sing!  Listening to and singing with the music I like is one of my favorite things to do.  It's also just for "fun" because the last time I sang in a choir I sang Alto in High School, LOL.

I used to sing for weddings, etc, but I quit doing it now that I'm older.  I still sing in the church choir and in the car with the radio.

I sing for the fun of it but my voice isn't that good I sing along with a song my mom could really sing she sounded like Patsy Cline

Pretty fair baritone here, don't go out of my way to sing but do some fill-in slots for several groups in the area when they have an absence or just want to add a baritone voice. Nothing I have any aspirations in at all, but I do love good vocal artist. Sadly the current crop of 'hot' musicians are all pretty disappointing in the talent department. VERY few are in the 'gifted' department in my opinion.
