Tried to do the Candy Crush download and it was a disaster.  Not only did the offer never credit for me it casued a virus on my computer, so I got my computer guy to clean the virus out buy he wiped out half my programs too including flash player for watching any videos.

Somehow the candy crush download also caused me not to get credit for 2 surveys I did on FC just beforehand as well.

Wow. I hope you get your computer fixed. It is always good to have a anti virus installed on a computer. Sorry this happened to you.

Likewise a huge night nightmare, caused not only a virus, but it came with several other downloads that I was not aware of, I had to enlist help from  Dell to clean that mess up> :icon_rr:

Wow that IS a nightmare! I've never had any luck getting credited for downloads, but thankfully I've never had that happen.

Im kinda skeptical when in comes to downloading something in my computer. I'd rather take pennies that are safe to my computer than a buck or 2 that will cause nightmare. ;D

It caused me the same problem. I had to back up my files on usb's and restore my pc to factory. I won't download anything anymore.

The candy crush offer didn't work for me either, so no credit. I have it on my cell phone with no problems, also on my kindle fire. Oh well on to other offers! :peace:

I'm not fond of downloads. I don't like to risk my computer. I'll stick with the offers I that I know works.

I tried this one against my better judgement. I don't do downloads because of the garbage and viruses that come with them. But I love candy crush so decided I would try it for $0.63. DUMB IDEA!!!  Took me over an hour to clean my computer up and get rid of the viruses and garbage that came with it. PLUS I never got credit.  :bs:

Awful! I never do anything that requires downloads even if it seems reputable. I play candy crush on my phone, so dont let this bad scenario scare you away from the game itself.

I try to never ever download anything. I've learned my lesson the extremely hard way :) I broke here and tried the Neilsen Digital Voice thing, but even that started making me freeze and screw up constantly, so I uninstalled and took the loss in credits. Better to be safe than sorry, especially with finicky computers I think.

I'm so sorry that happened to you. I was going to do that offer, but kept putting it off. Then I was looking around some other sites and started to read about other people who did the offer and got a virus on their computer. I also saw a lot of complaints about not even getting credited for doing it. I really wish they'd take some time to investigate this because if it's happening as much as it seems to be happening then someone needs to remove the offer.  :angry7: I can deal with the loss of an offer if that means it will save our computers. I'm not a fan of downloading things anyway and hardly ever do it. I hope everything worked out for you and thanks for letting us all know about your experience. Good luck in the future.

I am a ditto of what you said.  I think I got everything off and straightened out finally and removed but not really sure . . .  my computer seems to be back to normal mostly but I have received emails from a couple of men about the video and how can they lose 4 dress sizes? . . . on different days they got email from me with just a link . . . I haven't even sent emails from that email address . . . less long just a link . . . I text and email like I talk  . . . too chatty LOL  SO I wonder if it came from this fiasco . . . so many do candy crush and like it and I thought wow on fusion cash and .63 I will try . . . bad idea . . . and I worry what I missed.  Hard part is the way it uninstalled . . .  they had tricks on that too . . .I learned a lot BUT what did I miss?  And virus programs aren't perfect for this situation because you give permission to download so unless the virus program knows something bad . . . you don't get warnings or anything to tip you off . . . lesson learned

My sister is a newbie here and she downloaded the Mario Cart one, I never even saw it, but it totally messed up her computer also, although she was having some problems with it already, that was the icing on the cake, It completely stopped working and she was unable to fix it herself, so she had to take it to a computer shop and pay to have the virus removed, although she had Anti virus protection, it didn't catch it. I felt really bad because I referred her to FC, but then again I told her never download anything unless it's from a secure site, I know it's not FC's fault, but I wish they could check submissions better before they are put out for us to click on. A few days after that, I saw the candy crush one, I thought no way because it paid the same as the Mario Cart one, and I don't think she even got the credit for it. Which isn't surprising. It's so frustrating when people do that sort of thing for no good reason.
