Strapped for cash is putting it mildly but anymore it has gone beyond just being strapped for cash at the holidays but we do the best we can.

I have been strapped for cash for the last 6 months ever since my boyfriend and I broke up and he moved out. I'm back to paying ALL the bills and I have practically no money left for even food, much less "holiday shopping"

Only my daughter will be getting gifts this year, and all she will be getting is a few inexpensive toys.

I'm a big saver in general, but I also make special plans during these times to have extra funds necessary to accomodate my anticipated Christmas shopping as I lot of people I shop for.

My family creates the state of 'strapped for cash' every month.  I work two jobs, as does my wife, and bring home an admirable amount of money but expenses always seem to adjust up to whatever the income is.  My family confuses the word "needs" with the word "wants".  They have wanted to take the proceeds from this hobby even though it represents mere pennies.  Last year they thought that I was making a mint with aluminum cans so they decided to take them to the salvage yard and were so disappointed when they were only awarded thirty two dollars.  They had made a special trip out to cash them in...gas alone cost them eight dollars....rather than waiting until they had business in that same area! I am happy with a few pennies here and there.

Yea, I have so many to give to and not enough money. What I do to help me out is I do surveys and save it for xmas time and I also put aside monthly 50 for xmas. I give to around 40 people so it can get costly.

I find that I never seem to put enough aside for Christmas which sometimes creates a problem.

:) Years ago, we started putting away a little each month so we could have enough for the Holidays.

I think that everyone feels that from time to time, especially nowadays. Plus with Christmas shopping everyone needs extra cash.

I think everyone is feeling the "pinch" right about this time of year.  After all, if you work part-time, you don't make enough money and if you're unemployed, well, no need to go there cause we all know what that's like.  Maybe if we all demand WASHINGTON, D.C. GIVE SOME OF THEIR LOADS OF CASH TO THOSE WHO NEED IT MOST we can all benefit!!!!

I a fulltime housemaker and I have always wanted to earn extra money and I am glad my sister referred me in FC I earned here but not much but it helped still better than nothing. And I am now doing another online business and so far it works really well. I just had my first pay out 110 dollars for two weeks. So bad I can't share it here. But anyway, I am still doing the FC as well.

I feel strapped for cash because I don't get a lot.  My idea is to save myself $7 a week out of each check.  If I succeed, I will have $364 to spend on something nice.  My mother would put $75 in the bank in a Christmas fund.  One year, when I was working, I managed to get a check for $402 because I had put money in the Christmas fund at the credit union.  I plan to do it when I get a job.   :highfive:

Starting around Thanksgiving, (actually before), people do tend to spend more because it's the holiday season and people buy more food and gifts for Xmas, etc...
