I prefer home alone or even Christmas vacation by National Lampoons

I would pick Home Alone.  I always enjoyed that one more, and it makes me think back to watching it when I was young.

I love Christmas movies period. I love the Home Alone series because they are so funny. I love the Christmas story because it shows the softer side of Christmas. However, there are many other excellent Christmas movies out there besides these. Miracle on 34th Street, It's a wonderful life, I'll be home for Christmas, The Santa Clause series, Santa Buddies, Santa Paws and etc. etc.

A Christmas Story is my favorite holiday movie of all time.  Ralphie and his mother remind me a lot of me and my mom, including her fear of BB guns.

Home Alone, definitely Home Alone. It's a really cool movie, a bit different than how most Christmas movies tend to go. And the main character is a young kid getting the best of some burglars in a fun (and funny) way.
