How many times do you go to the movie theater in a month?

I haven't been in years and years. I think the last new release I saw was the South Park movie.

Try going to the movies with 3 kids, one of which just became an adult, & they want to see them in 3D.  Then all the snacks they want, which cost more than the movie.... it's so ridiculous.   Thankfully the grandparents send movie gift cards on every holiday for them, helps out tons.   

I rarely go see movies unless they are for kids,  although we all went to see the Hobbit, which everyone liked.  Good fun.

Redbox & Netflix & Hulu are the best deals in town.  Especially when you find free promo codes for Redbox, free movies.

My stepfather and I see movies in the theater once a month.  We go to the matinee, which is much less expensive.  Have a great day!

Here I was thinking it was weird I hadn't been to the movies since about 2009 or 2010. Now it seems normal! The Byrd Theatre here only charges around $1 a ticket, but they only show maybe two movies at a time. Seeing the movie Public Enemies, with Johnny Depp portraying John Dillinger, in that old building was amazing!

I can honestly say I haven't been to a movie theater in over a year now.  What with the quality of the movies showing and the outrageous prices to see a movie, I have better things to do with my money.  Now, if I still lived in NYC, I would most definitely be going to see a live play.  THIS is worth every DIME because on a live stage, there's REAL TALENT.

I used to go to the movies a lot but now it is just to expensive and there has really not been too many good movies
to go see. I haven't been to a movie in maybe 10 years and I am a big movie buff too.

I havent gone since the second hunger games movie came out... I really wanted to see anchor man 2 but missed it and now i have to wait until it comes out on dvd o well guess it saves me some money. The theater can be so expensive.

I don't go at all. It's been years since I last went. I never really went very often anyway. Prices these days have become absurd and it's just not worth it. I'd rather watch it at home either online or on television. Just don't have the funds to waste on stuff like going to the movies.

I love to go to the theater, but I can't afford to go very often.  I probably go around 4 times a year.  A $1 theater nearby made some upgrades, so might start going there sometimes.

My husband and I are retired so we try to go once a week to the movies,
usually early on a Friday, when the new releases come out and when we get the
cheaper matinee prices.

I only go once or twice a year but t want to see two new movies this week son of god and non-stop

I've been going weekly. The theater in town has been having $5 Tuesdays. Free popcorn and $5 for any movie.
