Sweepstakes and Contests

I've never won any sweeptstakes or contest. However, I've received a ton of free samples but I guess that is not the same.

Free samples are not the same as a big win but it is a nice surprise to go to the mail box and get a useful free sample.  Or to think you are getting a dinky free sample and you actually get a full sized product.  Oh yay!  That happened once years ago.  It was some kind of new cracker snack thing.  I am just really in need of some money right now and would put it to good use.  Not just for myself but someone else who really needs some help right now.  And like someone else said - I can't even win a stinkin dollar on a scratch off ticket.  Not that I buy them all the time. lol

I don't think I've ever won a contest or sweepstakes. I think a lot of contests and sweepstakes are scams..just to get your info.

I don't normally play Lotto unless I dream of the numbers.  The time I did that, I gave the numbers to my husband to play and we won $200.  I'm also a member of another community online and every two weeks they give away a $25 Visa Card.  I've been lucky enough to win that TWICE already!

I have won a few small lottery tickets, largest was $400.00. Also so some scratchers. Usually come out alright at the casinos. But Hubby has beat me on winning big. We were at a friends of the NRA banquet last Sat and he won the guns of the year.  He was in shock for a couple of days. He only bought 1 ticket. Great door prize.

I have won a few door prize drawings at trade shows.  The best ever was $250.  I would not go to a lot of trouble or waste a stamp to enter contests as the odds of winning are not very good, but if it is easy and free-- what do you have to lose--although I have learned to avoid some of those sweepstakes that bury you in follow-up emails.

I hear ya!!!  I've entered contests and such many, many times over the years but never win anything.  Sometimes I just think its to get more viewers or subscribers to whatever company is "giving away" the prize.  Not too sure anymore.

I have never won and sweepstakes or contests though i have been involved in many... My friend a few years back won 10000 on a scratch off though that was very exciting even though i wasnt getting an money lol

It's funny, the only one I ever won was one I didn't know I entered.  When graduating college they entered us in a drawing when we picked up our cap and gown.  When they called and told me I won something I thought it was a friend playing a joke on me. lol

I enter all those sweepstakes and contests but I never win anything. It's nice to hear that someone does. I always wonder if anyone wins.

My aunt works in a gas station and a girl she worked with bought a $1 scratch off ticket and she won $10,000.  I thought that was pretty cool.  All I do if I buy a scratch off ticket is trade my $1 for a worthless piece of paper.

I've often asked myself the same question. My inbox is flooded with Publishers Clearing house, right now I simply just delete them all, are these so called winners real or paid actors??
