concerto opus #149
« on: June 10, 2014, 07:54:46 am »
Listening to the radio the other morning, the announcer said that the next music piece would be "concerto opus # 149".
I was wondering afterwards how many there are - how high the number might go.
Then, there are sonatas and arpeggios......and so many other types of music just in the classical classification.

Do you know who the composer was? Every composer's works are numbered separately, so that one wrote an awful lot of concertos! I have no idea how many there are if you added all the ones from all the composers, but it must be thousands.
