Carrying a purse
« on: July 18, 2014, 04:29:35 am »
How many women out there carry everything but the kitchen sink in their purse?

I am guilty of it everyday that i go to work. Since i am there for 8 hours, i take things that i need because i only get
a half hour lunch, so i do not want to use my time to run home for anything.

When i go anywhere else, i switch purses and leave all the extras at home. :D

I carry my stuff, my husbands stuff and all kinds of other stuff, most of which I don't need. But it seems like if I take something out then I will need it.

I have a huge purse so I tend to really just throw everything in there. If I go to the store and only have a couple bags I just throw it all in my purse. I had a 2 liter and chips in my purse when I went to the movies the other day and you couldn't tell

I carry almost everything but the kitchen sink.  I carry my stuff and his stuff.  I carry aspirin, tums, baby wipes (for grandson), coupons (never know when you need them).  I tried cleaning out my purse but didn't throw anything out!

I got TIRED of carrying a purse. I had a large enough bag that I would toss my coffee mug in there, daughter's toys, etc. Could never find anything. For the last few months I have just been carrying a wristlet wallet. FREEING.

I've gone back and forth carrying a big purse for a while then tiring of carrying so much stuff I downsize to a small purse.  The cycle repeated many times.  ::) These days I carry a tote/purse so I can take breakfast with me, to eat on the train, when I go up to Albuquerque for the day.  Then I can put small purchases in it instead of carrying a separate bag.  ;)

I used to carry a purse, but it seemed like I always carried everyone elses stuff, so now I have a small wallet that fits into my pocket..and no more purse. Let everyone carry their own stuff!! LOL!

I carry a purse but it doesn't have anything of value in it so if I am robbed of my purse I would like to see the expression on their face when they discover that the most they will get is some loose change (less than a dollar) and a pack of cigarettes. By the way I don't own credit cards or debit cards. So a thief would be sorry if he took my bag and I would laugh my (?) off.

I only carry what I need.  I try to have anything else I could need in my car.

I don't carry a purse. I'm sure I'd forget it somewhere. I like traveling light, and not being tied down with anything. I have a wallet I can stick in my pocket.

If I'm only going out for a short while, I take very little and just put it in my pockets. If I think I'm going to be gone for longer, I carry a pharmacy, haha. Tissues, feminine hygiene stuff, mints, compact mirror, TWO wallets (one for change and one for everything else!), etc. :) I always feel prepared.

OMG! That soon exactly like me! I finally started buying smaller handbags because the bigger it is the more stuff I will put in it.
