I am kinda looking forward to school starting back up. I am not looking forward to the expenses associated with it though.

August is just another hot month for me in Texas but at least I know that summer is coming to an end and fall is right around the corner.  August is also preseason football so the start of the new season is not too far off. But, it is really hard to believe that it is August and back to school time.

It seems as though the older I become the faster time passes. Yes, it is hard to believe August is almost here.  This year has passed quickly, before we realize it Christmas will be rolling around again.  In August I plan to start Christmas shopping so I want feel so rushed as December approaches hopefully, I can get more accomplished this year.

August 28th is my birthday and I will celebrate 51 years. I am so blessed and feel so good saying that. Not only will I celebrate 51 years of life but life after breast cancer. I am a survivor and I thank God daily for my life, health and strength. So this August 28th, I am going to celebrate life.

August is my birth month so I look forward to my birthday. School starts in August which is bittersweet, Excited for the new school year but not for the end of the summer.

Here in TX it gets really HOT. Not looking forward to that. But it does mean that it won't be long before those temps start to go down. Family birthdays are in order at my house. Labor Day is just around the corner. Hopefully more good things are in store for those who have been waiting.

i actually dread august..my granddaughters start back to school..and i wont get to see them as much...but it does mean that cooler months are closer...

My boyfriends birthday is in Aug along with my sister. Even though I'm not big on going out its nice to go have fun without having all of our kiddos around (my boyfriend and I have 4 between the ages of 11 and 6 months lol)

My parents' anniversary is in August. My dad passed 3 years ago, but my mom still misses him. I think it will be very bittersweet.
