Were you ever nervous when presenting to the entire class?

I have always been nervous before, during , and after I had to make a presentation to my peers. I have had to do it for years and never get used to it. I think it's a personality trait.

Yes, I think most people are at first, but eventually most people learn to be comfortable....

Doing the smallest things was always a problem for me even when I became an adult.  It's not as hard now that I am older.

I'm still in college, and yes, I still get nervous presenting to the class.
I'm majoring in Sign Language Interpreting and when we have to stand up in front of the class and sign our presentation, I get shaky and I sign way too fast.
I am also the president of the campus' Deaf/Hearing Social Club, and I find myself speeding through the meeting as I'm talking. I feel bad for the interpreter and I have to try and force myself to talk slower so that the members can understand me and the interpreter can keep up!

I've had my fare share of the jitters, but I usually overcome it once I start speaking. I find that if you keep in mind that people are there to hear what you have to say not to focus on you, then 70% of the pressure is already lifted.

Absolutely!  I don't know many who aren't....except that they do it everyday! You can do it!!

Its normal to feel nervous.I think if we prepare ourselves well and also enjoy what we are about to present it will get easier with time.

I have a problem being front of a large group. When I was a senior I recited our deca creed in less than a minute. There was only 2 of able to recite it. I just did it the fastest. I was in a business education class

Uh, yeah.  Public speaking is the number one fear in the world.  I always did better if I could choose the topic and it always helped if I could get my audience to laugh a little bit in the beginning.

Yep did not like it and still don't I would take the bad grade instead of doing it.

yes didn't like talking in front of people but got better at it in college.

Sometimes, especially when  I knew the teacher was grading on presentation as well as content. As time went on, I got better with speaking in front of my classmates.
