I regularly use a credit card, but an emergency fund is great for emergencies. Using a credit card for an emergency is asking for trouble.

What part of EMERGENCY do you not understand?  People who use a credit card in an EMERGENCY usually do not have a choice.  And most people are living pay check to pay check so they can't build up a 6 to 12 month emergency fund like the so called experts say every person should have.

Nothing I wrote should be interpreted as a lack of understanding of an emergency. If you have to use a credit card for an emergency, fine. I'm just happy have a emergency fund built up instead.
