I love the holidays but let me get through Halloween first before I start thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas. I will start my Christmas shopping next month though since I have more people to buy for :)

I agree. LoL.

It doesn't feel like holidays are here when it is still 80s and 90s and out. Can't summer pass before we move straight to Christmas?  ::)

Agreed. It barely feels like the fall! Let's focus on one thing at a time: Halloween for starters (ONLY excited about this!), then Thanksgiving, and finally Christmas. I'm such a Grinch tho that from November 1st until about January 1st I'm in a sour mood.

Halloween is just a night for the children and we do give them candy. So may know hubby as he subs for the schools. Thanksgiving is a holiday . We give Thanks for our country, our family and those that we love. Christmas is the day of celebration of our savior. Jesus was born on this day.  If a sales clerk whishes me a happy holiday at Christmas I just ask what Holiday are you talking about. Either wish me or mine a Merry Christmas of forget it.

It's too early for me to get excited about the holiday season.  But the way these days and months are flying by, Christmas will be here in no time.
