Ebola in Cleveland and Texas!!!!
« on: October 16, 2014, 02:08:44 pm »
I stay in Cleveland, Ohio  :o :o

October 15, 2014 at 12:05 PM:
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Frontier Airlines on Wednesday confirmed that the second Ebola patient in Dallas who has tested positive for the virus recently spent time in Cleveland, and flew from Cleveland back to Dallas Monday on a Frontier flight.

Two nurses who had been involved in treating Duncan - including the one who was in Cleveland over the weekend - have been diagnosed with the virus and are now being treated in isolation at the same hospital.

I am already freaking out  :'( :'(

Yes these people wait until something bad happens. What they're supposed to be doing is setting up precautions even if they have dreamt an infected person was in any area.
We can be so azz backwards. This is why you have to think about the origin, because they're NOT being CAUTIOUS :o

The virus is starting to spread to other states.  Who knows how many people were infected at the airport and airplane during the nurses travels?

OMG - I just don't understand how this has happened all of a sudden after all the years Ebola has been rampant in these other countries.  I mean it just seems strange to me that it didn't get here until all of a sudden now and is expanding on this level.  Kept I am freaking too.

This hospital and the CDC have both dropped the ball on this one!

The lady that flew on the plane had allegedly called the CDC to ask them if it was ok for her to take an airline flight and they said it would be ok. She told them of her situation with Duncan and how she was starting to feel some symptoms and they still thought it would be ok for her to fly in an airplane. Go figure!  ::)

Yes it is a little bit scary that now two nurses are infected with Ebola. There's a couple of things that I find interesting though. Firstly that so far, none of the Texan's deceased's close family were infected (you'd expect there would have been loads of hugs and kisses for the guy that had just come from Liberia) and also the deputy that visited Mr Duncan's apartment didn't get Ebola. The other thing is that the first nurse, has apparently received some of the first Doctor's plasma and she is already quickly recovering when she was only diagnosed as having Ebola on Monday this week.

??? ???  Yes this is something to think about, None of other family members have came up with infection of ebola, even though he was sent back home form hospital when he had fever none of his close associates have this infection and The nurse who has like millions of protections(like hand gloves, hazmat suit and sanitized clothes  etc.) over her body caught the infection.  :-\
