Favorite meal when it's cold outside?

My favorite meal, when its cold, is chili.  I like to make a big pot and eat on it for a couple days....the last day making chili mac. It's a great way to stretch the food dollars and its yummy, too.

Like many here, chili is a favorite meal when it is cold outside.

I use the crockpot and that makes the chili even more of a favorite food of mine!  I love crockpot meals!

I love cornish hen soup with lots of leafy vegetables and rice. I also like rice soup with chocolate milk.

I like to have soups and stews definitely. Also, hot cocoa is a must have. Hot apple cider is good with a cinnamon stick in it. A good chili is nice. Don't really have any specific foods that aren't also had in the warm months. A nice lasagna is perfect for any time of year.

I like my vegetable beef soup w/grilled cheese sandwiches or my cabbage soup with corn bread. A few of my favorite cold weather meals.

   I love to put on a stew in the morning in the slow cooker, it always smell so fabulous to walk into the house with the smell of dinner being ready.    Serve it with a crusty bread , cheese, crackers....yummy!  I also love a navy bean soup with cornbread.

Last night I made a delicious chicken soup, yum yum  the house smelled good with all those vegetables and cilantro. Also made a yummy corn bread.

I have several. Chili and fry bread, Lasagna and of course Texas golosh .

Since I'm from the southeast (Georgia)  I would say that my favorite is home made chicken and dumplings.

Soup is usually nice. I guess anything that is warm and cooked is nice to eat. Helps keep you warm while you eat.
