Actually I think you are understating and downplaying a subconscious activity.

LOL....I think it is silly to judge anyone by how they do or don't use capitalization for their name. Almost seems like you put yourself about those that don't. But in reality we are laughing at you for making a big deal of it. You must have a stressful life if this is one of the things that annoy you. LOL

I don't know maybe it is a form of overcompensating. You need to capitalize your name on a public forum to make yourself feel better....with your so-called education you should see that you have self confidence issues. BUT to say that you think less of someone or it makes someone seem they think less of them self is pretty ignorant in itself. I always forget to capitilize, sadly in forum posts. It doesn't reflect in my professional writing but i think in forums and sign up pages things are less formal and so we can be a little lazy. Has nothing to do with ego or self aware.
