When do you put Christmas decorations up?

I always put my tree up the day after Thanksgiving.  Hope everyone has a good dayand my God bless each of you and keep you safe.

after Thanksgiving,,,,, i have a large tree that takes a couple days to decorate.   Outside on a day that is not raining and freezing  !!!

We begin right after Thanksgiving, we always have several different get togethers during the month, so we have to have it done early.  We have a cookie exchange party the first or second week of  December (some years there is an extra weekend),  We do a Progressive dinner, one with family and one with friends to see every ones decorations and exchange small gifts. Then a big family day on Christmas.  We give homemade fudge and cookies to a lot of our friends, so that is why we get the decorating done early.  Then we have time to bake, cook and get the goodies out to everyone.  Our family loves Christmas....In fact we celebrate just about every holiday, birthday and family milestone....we like a reason to get together and celebrate!!!          

Also a helpful hint, We try to do both Progressive dinners on the same weekend, that way the house is clean and ready for guests with only only big cleaning and one touch up!  Anytime you can put two events/parties together you have less work and less decorating.     Our family also does event planning for weddings, teas, showers, birthdays so we know lots of little shortcuts, but the event always comes out beautiful!

Always have and always will be the day after Thanksgiving. And I won't listen to Christmas music until after Santa comes at the Macy's Parade.

My sister insisted on putting up the tree a few days ago.  Thankfully it's self shaping and pre lit but at the same time I'm like "It's too. damn. EARLY!"

I normally wait until sometime after Thanksgiving to start decorating for Christmas.  Decorating for Christmas is one of those things I enjoy doing along with Christmas shopping.

Usually don't put up my decorations til after Thanks giving!  My sister just sent me a picture of her xmas tree the day after Halloween.  lol She gets a lil excited!!!
