Do you arrive at work on time or late most days?I  am an early
bird myself, being late throws off my day.

I agree I have to arrive about 15 minutes early or I feel like I'm playing catch up all day

Well, I worked in the Workforce Development industry for a number of years.  One of my duties was to teach people about getting AND maintaining jobs.  We always emphasized that being late on the job can often get you written up and ultimately fired if it keeps happening.  Many employers will only put up with it for so long.  Obviously, there are some jobs where there is some leniency, but usually it is agreed upon during hire.

I am retired, but when I was in the workforce full time I always arrived early, I substitute teach now and still arrive early to get organized and review plans left by the teacher.

I get to work early and leave late-typically at six in the morning and out by four thirty or five. I work a second contracting job out of my house and usually start at five or six in the evening and cut out at around eleven or eleven thirty. On Saturdays and Sundays I only work the one contract job and generally go from six in the morning until eight in the evening. I also have a third job that I do on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings for about two hours. If my contract work requires long downloads I come straight to good old fusion cash and embrace blogs for fifteen to twenty minutes at a time. I have to take two weeks of vacation at the end of the month (or lose it) which means I can work the contract job even more.
