Seems like yesterday

It seems like yesterday that my girls where born, now they are 13 and 11 years old and over half way to being on their own.... I love them

Thank you, I am trying my best to raise them well and so far they are turning out great, getting into the teenage years.

I know what you mean. It seems like yesterday that my girls were born and here they are 37 and 38. One is even having her own kids now.

That's so true.  I remember when I was a kid I would say to my mom I can't wait until.....she would always say wait till you are older, time goes by so fast.  I never knew what she meant until I got older, time really does fly so fast.

I can relate to your sentiment that it "seems like yesterday".
Our kids are 36, 33, 27, and 25.  We have grandkids 19 down to 1 year.

Our youngest daughter is getting married on January 16.......just a few days away!

Oh, how I know that feeling!  My "baby" and only child turns 30 years old next month!  That is so hard to believe.  I don't feel like I am old enough to have a 30 year old child! ~ on the inside, anyway....  the outside is another story...

My sons are in their 30's and their dad my husband is passed on.  Yes time sure flies.  It makes me sad sometimes but then it is life right?  And I have the blessing of having an excellent relationship with both of them.

I remember the day I bought my newborn son out of his first church service, which was actually his christening/baptism. I took one look at my son as I came out the doors and thought, "I already don't want him to leave home". That seems like just yesterday, but now he is 11 years old and he has a 9 year old brother. Where does the time go?
