I have just one and I SWORE I would never be 'inked.' A dear friend of mine who was diagnosed with cancer was planning on a new tattoo and said I should do the same. Of course I said no way, there's no reason to get a tattoo. She sketched a set of drums and said, "This would look great on your forearm." She gave me a look as if to say, "It would be great to see what I've drawn on your arm." Needless to say, I went through over an hour and a half of sitting under the needles. Pain? Slightly until he started doing the shading on one particular area for about 25 minutes straight! I was a tattoo virgin until the age of 62 and I'm proud of it.
That's so awesome AuthorPaul!! Welcome to the tat club! lol :)

I would love to get a tattoo, but I think I'm too old.  And I'm deeply afraid of needles.  It was good of you, AuthorPaul to share in that experience with your friend.

No way, I do not have any tattoos, a birthmark that's about it.  I heard it's really painful.

I've thought about it many times. I love seeing other people's tattoos and asking them what they mean.

I'm fascinated by them, but I don't see the point of putting something permanently on your beautiful skin.  :glasses-nerdy: It hurts and it costs lotsa money, for Pete sake.
