How has the recession affected you?

I'm lucky enough to have my parents pay for college and all my other necessary expenses (living, food, etc.). Temporarily, that is...I'll have to pay them back once I graduate.

But because of this, the recession really hasn't affected me much. Hopefully it'll be gone by the time I'm out of med school in 5 years.

It has not effected my family. We have actually taken advantage of the situation by getting great deals on vacations and buying new things well below the advertised cost.

That is why I am sponsoring people here!  I have my own business so I am not unemployed...but I am not making at my regular business now...people don't want to spend what they don't absolutely have too...Good for my internet business though.  I got two more referrals here yesterday.

I have been really broke.  It seems like the prices have increased and my check has decreased.  We used to get bonuses at work, but now we don't.  Our business has really cut down and it's starting to show in our figures.

i cant seem to find a job at all. I am a student and have applied a crazy amount of places in the last 6 months or so and have not heard back from anyone. I really need a job : (
