I have noticed, however, that it is does not always have the lowest prices.

I have! Got a book from their used marketplace. Super cheap! I also dig Amazon when it comes to buying stuff for the kitchen and LPs. I would NEVER buy high end beauty products from them though, a lot of it are knock offs, it seems? I guess it depends on if it's a legit seller though.

Yes I ordered a birthday present for my great niece on amazon.com this month. Actually, it was at smile.amazon.com which you should really use instead of amazon.com because the former donates a portion of your purchase to your favorite charity. I am really annoyed about amazon requiring $39 in purchases to get free shipping now, up from their former policy of $25 and don't order nearly as much as I used to because of this change.

I've been a Prime member since 2012, but am seriously considering cutting ties with them. The free two day shipping used to mean Amazon would ship the same day and I'd get my stuff in two days, now it means Amazon sits on my order for two days and I get my stuff in four days.  In the good old days, I often paid a little more to get my stuff much much faster, nowadays, I'm shopping around before simply adding it to my cart on Amazon.

I ordered from Amazon in the past week.  In fact, when I ordered my item I was given an estimated delivery date of February 5, 2017, and it actually came yesterday.  It's always nice to get a package earlier than expected.

I ordered a bunch of stuff. I got CDs, person care items, a stuffed animal and some flash drives. I am always getting Amazon gift cards so I order a lot from there.
