I wish you the best in this chapter of life. I don't have any words of wisdom & I am truly sorry for that.

Stress is a killer, don't let things like your kids not helping you out around the house or getting your car fixed, they need to get out and let you destress. It only makes it worst when they don't try and help with household things, don't cook for them or clean for them, they grown, let them do grown up things, they not babies anymore.

Prayer, excercise (even if it's just a walk around the block with the dog), spending time with a pet, listening to favorite music & finding ways to change up the "daily routine" are just a few things that help me with stress.

I saw an idea on Pinterest the other day that I thought was helpful.  Take a little box & decorate it and on the top write "Worry Box".  Write on slips of paper all your "worries", pray & give those worries to God & drop the paper in the box.  Then go on with your day.

Stress isn't healthy, it needs to go.  Do whatever you need to do to be happy.  If you are on Facebook, ask on there if anyone knows anyone that could help you fix your house.  I've seen people do that & you never know who knows someone that might be able to help (there's alot of people looking for side jobs to make a little cash and might be able to fix something alot cheaper than a professional & still do a good job.)  Same for future car repairs...there are guys that love to tinker with cars & will do brakes, oil changes, etc for cost of parts and a little side money.  You just have to find someone that knows someone.....& Facebook is really good for that.

Things will change for the better...they always seem to reverse direction at some point or another. I had a tough month, worked twice as hard to learn a new process and misinterpreted one guideline for which I was severely castigated. No recognition for the effort, hours or dedication. I am still cleaning up the mess. But this is a different week and I gained a valuable lesson from my mistake. I have the opposite problem with my children: I can not see  enough of them. I have a daughter in Singapore (studying abroad) that comes back for a few days in April and then heads out to Illinois for an internship till mid-August when she comes back to school and I might see her every six weeks. My son graduates from High school in three weeks and has his summer planned out until he takes off for college.
